Craig Marsh

Craig leads Mathematics across the Trust in his role as Director of Maths.

He manages the Trust Lead Practitioners in Mathematics and works as part of a team of lead professionals responsible for the quality of subject provision, curriculum design, teaching and assessment.

The Mathematics function provides both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring consistency and excellence in curriculum delivery, assessment practices and outcomes across all Academies. As part of this work, Craig is jointly accountable for subject performance improvement, attainment and progress in Mathematics, working to raise standards and secure strong outcomes for all learners.

Working across the Trust Academies, Craig supports a target group of assigned schools, where he works closely with Senior Leadership Teams and Subject Leaders to accelerate improvement. He plans and teaches high-quality lessons, delivers targeted intervention programmes and provides both challenge and support to subject teams to help them achieve ambitious targets.

Craig brings extensive experience in Mathematics education and subject leadership. Through detailed analysis of performance data and close collaboration with colleagues, he ensures students are effectively targeted for support and that a consistent, high-quality Mathematics curriculum is delivered across the Trust, supported by a shared examination board.
