Craig Hutton

Craig leads the Achievement & Standards function as Executive School Improvement Lead.

He works closely with Trust Leaders, Academy Principals, Curriculum Leaders and teaching staff to strengthen the quality of education and ensure that academic standards continue to rise across all LST Secondary Academies.

The Achievement & Standards function is responsible for improving the effectiveness of teaching practice, enhancing curriculum delivery and ensuring that assessment and data are used intelligently to drive improvement. As part of this work, Craig supports leaders to refine teaching approaches, secure strong progress for all students and embed high expectations across departments.

Working at a strategic level, he focuses on improving student outcomes across the Trust, ensuring that every academy delivers a high‑quality academic experience that enables students to achieve their full potential.
